CALL TO WORSHIP

Blessed be the Lord of Hosts, who cleanses and heals our lives.

All: Praise be to God!

Blessed be the Holy One, who brings us from despair to hope.

All: Praise be to God!

Blessed be the Giver of Life, who nurtures and comforts us.

All: Let us praise God with our whole hearts and souls!

The Bread of Life has come among us.

All: What is this Bread of Life?

It is none other than Jesus Christ, God’s beloved Son!

All: We hunger for the true bread that will nourish our souls.

Come, then, to Christ who feeds us with his very life!

All: We come, needing sustenance and nurturing. AMEN

PRAYERS OF THE PEOPLE

Creator God, you call us to love and serve you with body, mind, and spirit through loving your creation and our sisters and brothers.

Open our hearts in compassion and receive these petitions on behalf of the needs of the church and the world.

Holy One, hear our prayers and make us faithful stewards of the fragile bounty of this earth so that we may be entrusted with the riches of heaven. Guide our humility so that we may be like Your Son, Who taught us to pray…LORD’S PRAYER
